I am a holistic counselor who uses positive psychology to help you make room for difficult emotions, manage stress effectively and live the life you want. I have experience in hospitals, social services agencies and family clinics — in each of these settings I have developed a caring approach that focuses on your healing and empowerment. I specialize in LGBTQI (and non labeling) clients. I am listed as a mental health provider through True Colors, Sexual Minority Youth & Family Services of Connecticut.

Susan Jennifer Polese is an award-winning playwright whose work illuminates social issues. Her plays have been up at LaMama Experiential Theatre Club, The Midtown International Theatre Festival, HERE Performing Arts Center and Planet Connections Theatre Festivity. She has studied playwriting at Hunter College under Romulus Linney and at Herbert Berghof Studio. She's taught playwriting to children through Purchase College, and has been a member of and taught with Axial Theatre Company. Susan attended the La Mama International Playwright Retreat in Umbria, Italy. She is a proud member of The Dramatists Guild.
