Susan Jennifer Polese is an award-winning playwright whose work illuminates social issues. Her plays have been up at LaMama Experiential Theatre Club, The Midtown International Theatre Festival, HERE Performing Arts Center and Planet Connections Theatre Festivity. She has studied playwriting at Hunter College under Romulus Linney and at Herbert Berghof Studio. She's taught playwriting to children through Purchase College, and has been a member of and taught with Axial Theatre Company. Susan attended the La Mama International Playwright Retreat in Umbria, Italy. She is a proud member of The Dramatists Guild and The International Centre for Women Playwrights.
